These sources affect the quality of raw tap water at the Nagaresugi Water Purification Plant. The ionic component concentration and chemical composition of the raw water fluctuate, and it is thought that the cause is the water quality of Jigokudani hot springs and Yukawa River, which is one of the headwaters of the Shomyo-Makawa System. In addition, it was thought that the Yukawa River and the hot springs in Jigokudani were involved in the supply of heavy metal components such as arsenic. In addition, the concentration of musty odor components was also high in the Shomyo-Makawa System.\nThe Yokoe water source seemed to change its ionic component concentration and ionic composition due to the influence of the power generation water intake to the Shomyo-Makawa System.\nOn the other hand, the Arimine water source has stable ionic component concentration and ionic composition, and despite the presence of ore deposits in the basin, the heavy metal concentration is low, the musty odor component concentration is
