| 内容記述 | All records of Mantis religiosa (Linnaeus, 1758) collected in Toyama Prefecture were reviewed. In this paper, it was shown that M. religiosa has been recorded at six localities in the prefecture and two records are from recent years. Most of the localities were on the flood plain and the beach, which are considered to be within the general habitat of this species. These habitat conditions are similar in the surrounding areas of Toyama Prefecture. Therefore, if the population declines in the habitats in Toyama, the probability of new individuals flowing into Toyama from the surrounding areas is low, and the extinction of the local population could easily occur. Under these circumstances, the flood plain of the Jôganji-gawa River, where the number of records is relatively higher than in other areas of the prefecture and where the species has been confirmed to inhabit even in recent years, can be considered an important habitat for this species in Toyama. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 富山県で確認されたウスバカマキリの全記録を総括した。本稿により、県内の記録地点は6か所に整理され、このうち2か所では近年の生息も確認された。しかし、依然として県内の記録数は少なく、多産地も見つかっていない。こうした状況は富山県の周辺地域でも類似しているようであるため、県内の生息地において個体数が減少した場合、周辺地域からの新規個体が流入してくる確率は低く、容易に地域個体群の絶滅が発生する可能性がある。また、県内の他の地域よりも相対的に記録数が多く、かつ、近年でも生息が確認されている常願寺川河川敷は、本種にとって重要な生息地といえる。 | |||||
